The Bubble Paper team had the opportunity to exhibit at PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2025, one of the largest packaging and processing events in North America. Organized by PMMI, the show brings together over 2,000 exhibitors and 30,000 industry professionals to showcase innovations in materials, machinery, automation, and sustainability. We made many great connections and look forward to coming back next year in Chicago!

We set up in the North Hall at booth #5450, located in the medical packaging area. Our display featured some exciting new products coming soon to our online store — including a new variation of our Bubble Paper Wrap and a customizable protective product that can be adapted for different packouts. Visitors got a first look at how we’re expanding the Bubble Paper product line to make sustainable protective packaging even more versatile.

A big topic at this year’s show was EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) laws and how companies are preparing for them.
EPR laws are regulations that make producers responsible for the entire lifecycle of their packaging, including collection, recycling, or disposal. They’re designed to push companies toward more sustainable materials and reduce packaging waste overall.

exploring the floor
One of our favorite parts of PACK EXPO is walking the floor to see the latest in packaging and processing technology. Our marketing team spotted some incredible tools — including a vacuum-assisted lifting device (that compact, handheld system that grips materials for easy handling) and AI-powered forklifts that can be programmed from a tablet or desktop to identify and move objects in real time. The innovation happening on the automation side is impressive — and it’s exciting to think about how these technologies will support more efficient, sustainable operations.

We also stopped by to see the winners of this year’s Technology Excellence Awards, which spotlight breakthroughs redefining packaging and processing.
🏆 Sustainability Winner: Comprex North America, LLC – Floco Process (Booth N-6760)

It was great getting to talk with the founder about the company’s history and how the technology works — a perfect example of how sustainability and performance can go hand in hand.
